Okay, I have no idea WTF is going on. Been searching the forums but can't find much apart from a queried vacuum leak? The car has been absolutely brilliant until 2 days ago, I cold started it, backed out of the driveway, felt a bit of vibration like the engine was laboring, didn't think much of it. Got out onto the road, put the car in drive, started coasting down the road and all of a sudden the engine dies. Pulled over, started it first pop, took my foot off the gas and it dies again. Once the car was warm it was fine. I cold started it this morning and it didn't die, but the revs surged from 1k to pretty much 0 and back up to 1k 3 or 4 times before idling comfortably at roughly 990rpm. Has been doing this since i bought the car, about 2 months ago. Also sometimes while driving the cars rpm will randomly drop to 500 and feel like its labouring while driving along at 50kph. Only known mods are a Mine's Ecu, Mine's 300kph speedo, and slightly oversized bore, roughly 3100cc and a pod filter with all the old air box cut out. Would a vacuum leak cause this? i have check the lines but can't find anything, can hear a hissing from down near the right side plenum intake, but cannot locate it.
